Mallikarjun

Mallikarjun, born on 5th March 1976 in Srisailam, Andhra Pradesh is an Indian music composer and playback singer who mostly works in Tamil, Telegu, and Kannada film industry. His father works as an engineer in the Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Department whereas his mother is a housewife. He also has a sister.

Being a passionate music enthusiast as a child, Mallikarjun started learning music at the age of 9. It was due to his profession that he met co-singer Gopika Poornima Gopika Poornima is a versatile singer who sings in >> Read More... , and the two got married in February 2008. The couple has a daughter named Samhitha. The 1997 movie Singana marked his debut in the industry as a playback singer alongside Gopika. Since then, he has sung more than 315 songs in various films.

Apart from this, he has also assisted legendary music composers like Mani Sharma Mani Sharma is a famous music Director in Tamil an >> Read More... and Koti. In 2003, Mallikarjun was honored as the Best Singer at the Nandi Awards for the show Sukhadukhalu.

Besides working as a playback singer, he has never hesitated to try his hands at something new like reality shows. Throughout his career, Mallikarjun has featured as a judge in reality shows like STAR OF AP, STAR SINGER, and Airtel Super Singer 9. Currently, he resides in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
