Gayathri is a single mother living with her daughter, Suji. When a leading politician is hospitalized, Gayathri attends him and treats him with care. She is pressured to release some reports regarding his health. Although the politician recovers well, something fishy happens and he dies all of a sudden. Gayathri verifies all the reports and even cross-checks with other leading labs. She didn’t get any clue regarding this but gets evidence regarding the death of the politician. After knowing that she has evidence, Gayathri is kidnapped by the person responsible for the death of the politician and the efforts made by her to escape from him forms the rest of the story.
Trisha did her level best. Vela Ramamoorthy, Nandha, Chaams, Manasvi and Alagappan did justice to the given role. Vijay is okayish in the given role.
The story has nothing new but a mixture of all the political thrillers we have already watched. The film has some references from “ Sarkar Click to look into! >> Read More... ” too. Projected as Trisha’s 60th film, the film should have got some performance-oriented role for Trisha. Trisha plays well, yet it is not as good as her performance in “ 96 Click to look into! >> Read More... .” The characters are designed well. The film initially creates some suspense regarding the villain. Later, we get a clear idea about the villain. Although it is a non-linear way of telling, the scenes are properly made and edited. But, it will not go well with all audiences. Richard Rishi was initially shown as a mass villain, but he has no role to play. Some political dialogues remind us of the past. Even the character names have some political touch. BGM is very loud and irritates. A lot of logical loopholes create a huge setback.
What’s Not There?
The film is okayish. If people expect some super-duper kind of women-centric film, they will get disappointed. However, it is a treat for Trisha fans!
