Plot
Yashodha lost her husband to alcoholism. So, she brings up her son, Jai, as a teetotaller. He grows as his mother wishes and joins a prestigious college. He meets Tamizh, a girl from a wealthy family. She falls for him and he accepts her love, which irks Rajesh, who loved Tamizh. Rajesh knows that Jai is a teetotaller and that’s the reason why Tamizh fell for him. So, he decided to make Jai under alcohol’s influence and make Tamizh hate him. Slowly, he influenced Jai and made him an alcohol addict. Under alcohol’s influence, Jai asks Tamizh something in the college. Following this, both of them were suspended from college. Tamizh’s family abandoned her and Jai had no way except to marr. Jai was unable to face his mother. What happened next? Did his mother accept him? The rest of the film speaks about the life incidents of Jai and Tamizh.
Star Performance
Easwari Rao and Chandini aced their roles well. Jaya Krishnamoorthy was seen doing well in some places and needs improvement in some scenes.
Analysis
The film’s core plot is to educate people not to get addicted to alcoholism. As a director, Jaya Krishnamoorthy succeeded in some places in delivering the message. If a person is addicted to alcohol, he is unable to leave the habit, and hence it is better not to get stuck with alcohol and loses everything in life, is what the director wanted to showcase. But, as the narration is weak, he is unable to fulfil his duty and satisfy the audience. As an actor, he lacks some energy. In the second half, he was okay.

Though there are a few shortcomings, the director delivered the message he wanted to. However, for the people who want to watch films with some message, this film may appeal well. For the fun and entertainment loving people, this may not be their cup of tea.
