Star Performance

Mahesh Babu, the Prince Charm has fit in the role perfectly and this is his best performance, so far. He impresses the audiences as a dynamic Chief Minister. Mahesh appears as the ideal CM. Prakash Raj has given an excellent performance, as ever. Sarathkumar has also done his role perfect. Kiara Advani has no big role, but she looks gorgeous.

Analysis

Koratala Siva, the director who already worked with Mahesh in Selvandhan, has come with a good script and had executed it well. After becoming the CM, Mahesh’s decisions and his sharp concentration on the state of affairs have been well planned and worked out. The Disproportionate asset case and assembly scenes are the highlights of the film. The movie is technically sound and the production designer, cinematographers and the music composer should be appreciated for their excellence!

What’s There?

  • Mahesh and Prakash Raj’s performance is wonderful
  • Script and the execution are laudable
  • Pointed dialogues attract the audiences
  • The cinematography is good and BGM gels with the script
  • Taking a dig at politics and media – A bold attempt

What’s Not There?

  • The climax segment should have been concentrated well

Verdict

Bharat Ennum Naan is a wonderful political thriller drama that suits the present situation. The movie is non-preachy, but clearly explains the responsibility of the public and the politicians. It is definitely a watch worthy film!
