Jyothika… what a lady, yaar!!! She has given out her best ever performance in this film. The role is very complicated to emote, but Jyo had pulled it with ease. Among her second inning films, we had thought that “ 36 Vayadhinile” and “ Naachiyaar” are the best. But, Jyo proved that she could do magic with her presence and performance. All the other stars including Vidharth, Lakshmi Manchu, Kumaravel, Mayilsamy fit in their roles well. Simbu’s friendly appearance is impressive.
Radha Mohan has proved once again that he could bring out the talent of Jyo, as he did in Mozhi. The screenplay and the dialogues are good. Pon Parthiban should be appreciated for the dialogues. Kaashif’s songs and the BGM are good and the young man has a good future in the film industry. Radha Mohan has created his characters well. MS Bhaskar has replaced “Bhramanandam” of Mozhi. Yes, his role slightly has the traces of him.
What’s Not There?
Kaatrin Mozhi is definitely a good entertainer and it is worth watching with family. The film that exposes the middle-class life will surely be a hit among all class audiences. Kaatrin Mozhi – Thumbs up!
