Actor Ajay

Ajay is an actor, known mostly for his movies in Tollywood Industry.. He is best known for his portrayals as the central or supporting antagonist. He was born in the city of Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, India. He is a 16-year veteran of the Telugu film industry, having made his debut in the year 2000. Although most of his films have been Telugu movies, he has also starred in some Tamil and Kannada movies.

Though, he was born in Vijayawada and was, to an extent, brought up there too, he did his schooling in towns like Nellore and Tirupati as well. This is because his father held a job that saw him getting transferred a lot around the country. He joined a college in Jubilee Hills to sit for the Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) but he eventually enrolled in another institute: the Madhu Film Institute. Here, he completed a course in acting and began to pursue his dreams of becoming an actor.

His debut movie was “Kouravudu”, released in the year 2000. He also played the main lead in the movie “Sarai Veeraju”. The movie didn’t do good numbers at the box-office, but critics did take notice on how well Ajay performed in his role. Many of the films he has done have been successful movies.

According to Ajay, his best performance till date was delivered in the movie “Virodhi”, a political drama where he played a leader of a Maoist rebel group. The film itself won two Nandi Awards for Best Feature Film – Bronze and Best Dialogue Writer. It was a part of the International Film Festival of India in the year 2011. 

His filmography is a vast one, as he has appeared in nearly 100 movies since his debut in 2000. Additionally, while he is best known for acting in Telugu movies, he has also appeared in certain Kannada and Tamil movies. A famous actor from the Telugu movie industry, who has experienced the working streams in Kannada and Tamil movies also. The actor has done an enormous number of films in the industry and has gained a very reputed and respectable position. Ajai was born and brought up in Vijayawada, and due to his father’s transferring career he did his study in Vijayawada, Nellore, and Tirupati. In 1995 he also joined an institution to pursue EAMCET, an entrance exam for engineering and medical colleges in AP and Telangana.

He completed his course of acting from Madhu film institute. As an actor, he gave a start to his career in 2000 and is known for his best performance in a Telugu film “Virodhi” directed by ‘neela kanta’.He has achieved his name and fame in the industry by his splendid performances in the movies. However, His decision of becoming an actor was during the course which he was pursuing. After his debut in the first film destiny kept him waiting for nine months for an offer of another movie. As his father knew the director ‘vemuri jyothy Kumar’ and this is how he enacted in the film “kouravudu”.

After his film “khushi”,he met his lady luck and soon after was married to Shweta The actor seems to be satisfied with his career and life as he is giving back to back blockbusters, every year doing 4-5 films. This makes him a hardworking and dedicated man towards his work .And he is usually seen in the lead roles or characters in the movies.
