Anish Kuruvilla is an Indian actor, executive producer, and director. He was born and brought up in Hyderabad. The Malayali actor completed his Higher Secondary Education from The Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur.

As a child, Anish was raised in a conservative Malayali family. In his teenage years, he used to enjoy movies and Theatre. His interest in the performing arts grew with time. Despite familial discouragements, Anish decided to try his luck in Tollywood industry.

He started his journey as an actor with 2000, Drama film, "Dollar Dreams." The Sekhar Kammula directed, released in Telugu and English. Anish Kuruvilla played the lead role in the blockbuster hit. The motion picture received critical acclamation, and Anish's performance as Srinu was particularly admired.

At the 47th anniversary of the National Film Festival, "Dollar Dreams" won an award for the Best First Film of a 4-Director. The actor later starred in another Telugu film, titled, "Anand." Sekhar Kammula directed and produced the movie.

It was the first ever film to have a tagline, which translated to, "a movie that is like a cup of good coffee." Anish played the part of Raju in the picture. The movie became extremely popular and went on to receive the Nandi Award for Best Film.

Sekhar Kammula won the award for the Best Director. Anish Kuruvilla got nominated for the Best Supporting Actor. After "Anand," the actor took a break from acting for a long period of twelve years. When asked about the reason for taking a break, Anish confirmed that he needed time to be with his family and make them understand his dreams.

The actor later appeared in 2016 film, named, "Pelli Choopulu." The film is a Telugu Romantic Comedy, featuring Anish in the role of a businessman. Anish went on to make his Bollywood debut with 2016 biopic, "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story."

The motion picture received a positive response from the audiences and the critics. In 2017, Anish appeared in four films, including, "Nenu Local," "Velaikkaran," "Jawn," and "Hello." In 2018, he starred in another Telugu picture, titled, "Tej I Love You."

Along with acting in various successful films, Anish decided to try his luck in the field of film direction. In 2008, he wrote and directed a Telugu Drama, called, "Avakai Biryani." In 2012, Anish directed another Telugu film, "Ko Ante Koti." Anish Kuruvilla is Tollywood's versatile actor and director. Kedar Shankar is an actor who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. He is mainly known in the industry for portraying the character roles in movies. Kedar Shankar is not new to films.  He is the multifaceted artist who started his career by ghostwriting the national award-winning film, Ankuram (1993) which had Revathi and Om Puri in lead roles. The film was directed by C. Umamaheswara Rao. In the year 1995, Kedar Shankar for the same director worked for Aravind Swamy’s Mounam (1995) which was produced by actor Aravind Swamy. This was a big project involving Aravind Swamy and Nagma. This film was dubbed into Hindi as ‘Moun’. Later on, he got a chance to act for the film, Surya Putrulu (1997) of Mammootty. The film had Shobhana, Nagma, and Suman in lead roles. In addition, the actor became an active member of Sumadhura Kalaniketan of Vijayawada. During his tenure, Kedar Shankar directed two government-sponsored films, Pragathi Bharatam and  SadaMeeSevalo.  He also directed a movie featuring Midday meal titled as 'ModatiAdugu. All these movies were government-sponsored projects. Subsequently, he put his foothold even in television. He appeared in Eanadu Television’s daily Serial, ‘AdadeAdharam’.  In this serial, he performed a role of Lawyer Chandrasekhar which got him applause from viewers. In this role, his character had some negative shades which were appreciated by household audiences.  Later, he also got chances to act in Zee Telugu network serials such as Sikharam and PellinatiPramanaalu. His first break in movies was through the movie 'Village Lo Vinayakudu' (2009) where he played actor Rao Ramesh's brother. After this movie, he got small role offers in many Telugu movies such as Gunasekhar’sVarudu (2010), AVM Production’s Leader (2010) Aneesh Krishna's Ala Ela (2014), MaruthiDasari's 'EeRojullo' (2012) and A. R. Murugadoss's ‘Ghajini’. Out of all these films, only two films ‘'EeRojullo' and ‘‘Ghajini’ did some impact on his lagging career. It was only after the release of 'PelliChoopulu' where he played the role of hero's father, he got noticed by audiences. The film received critical and commercial success. It was a gem of a film and people accepted Kedar Shankar as a character actor. People did not know till then who this Kedar Shankar was. He played the role of a frustrated father and his chemistry with the son worked well. The actor depicted all kinds of frustration in his character and confusion within him. Kedar got high applaud for this role.
