Banerjee is a Telugu movie actor. He was born as Maganti Venu Banerjee in Vijayawada, Governor Peta. He attended Montessori Children School, which was headed by Indian communist leader and feminist Kondapalli Koteswaramma.

He studied at A.C. College in Guntur and later took a Hotel Management course in Chennai. He also took a Bachelor of Arts in Chennai. Banerjee started his career in the film industry as an Assistant Director. And now, he has completed three decades in the business and has appeared in a villain and supporting roles in over 300 films including Harischandrudu, Killer, Gulabi, James Bond Nenu Kaadu Na Pellam, Santosham, Gowri, Sri, Three, Sankham, Bindaas, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, Wanted, James Bond, Raja The Great, and a lot more.

He was last seen portraying the role of Sitaram in the 2018 period action drama film Rangasthalam and as Coach Murthy in the romance film Tej I Love You. He juggled his work as a Producer and Assistant Director and due to his intense portrayal in many of his films, he has won several awards including the State Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

Kireeti Damaraju

Kireeti Damaraju is an Indian actor. He works in the Telugu film industry. He is from Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh but grew up in Hyderabad. He had a knack for films since childhood but joined an engineering college and received a degree in Bachelors of Technology. He got a job in a multinational company along with which he started doing theatre. He used to work in the MNC on the weekdays and on weekends he used to watch plays. He joined the Adishakti group, a prominent theatre group in India. Kireeti worked on his finer nuances like Kalaripayattu (a form of martial art), eye movements, etc. After learning the details of the craft, he started working in short films like ‘Ontiganta’ and ‘Anukokunda’. These short flicks brought recognition to Kireeti. Anukokunda, a small film directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, was appreciated by Telugu film industry. It also became the first ever Telugu short flick to be selected for the renowned Cannes Film Festival. Following these flicks, Keerti was offered the role of Subbarao in the movie ‘Second Hand’. He was one of the leads in this 2013’s flick whose plot revolved around three love stories, each of which is different in its way. Kireeti’s inspiration in the Industry was Jandhyala, Naresh and Rajendra Prasad. He adds that a major role in his career is of social media as it helps him connect with his fans and reach a wider range of audience. In the year 2012, Kireeti worked in a movie called – Rudra: The Writer. It was about the struggles of a film writer and the exploitation he faces by the various elements of the film industry. Kireeti has played a supporting role in ‘Meeku Meere Maaku Meme’. He is the hero’s sidekick in the love story and helps him get the girl. Another role that Kireeti played was in the Telugu movie ‘Taskara’. He played a supporting role in the geopolitical thriller which was directed by Libra Media and Entertainment. Kireeti is currently trying to get lead roles in films. He is working on his role in the film ‘Uyyala Jampala’. He will also be seen in the big-screen drama, Mario.
