Krishan Choudhary Hindi Actor

Krishan Choudhary

Krishan Choudhary is an Indian producer who has produced movies like Bhoot Unkle and Right Ya Wrong. Krishan Choudhary’s family business specialized in hotels and restaurants in New Delhi and expanded into the real estate and construction sectors slowly. An ardent art lover, Krishna stated that he tried to produce a movie a few years ago but all the attempts went into vain and plans could not materialize further. In 2006, he along with Aneesh Arjun Dev financed Jackie Shroff’s comedy Bhoot Unkle in which Shroff enacted the role of a ghost. He almost gave up his Bollywood dream until he met Neeraj Pathak, a famous writer who has penned the scripts for Subhash Ghai’s Pardes. Together, they formed an enterprise which they named it as Icon. Since Neeraj had known Subhash Ghai for a long time, Krishna did not hesitate to involve Ghai as the presenter of Right Ya Wrong. Krishna brought in accomplished performers such as Sunny Deol, Konkona Sen Sharma, Irrfan, and Kirron Kher for his second motion picture. In Right Ya Wrong, Irrfan acted as the chief police officer whereas Sunny played the role of a physically disabled officer, accused of assassinating his wife. Talking about it, Krishna said that the movie is different from a stereotypical courtroom drama and it is a psychological thriller which could make the viewers ponder about issues like love and hatred. Although Right Ya Wrong got mixed reviews, it sustained a successful period at the Box-Office when IPL was going on in the country. Impressed with the response, Krishna announced his plans to produce Rokk, a horror flick. Choudhary brought Tanushree Dutta of Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Udita Goswami of Zeher, Shaad Randhawa, and Sachin Khedekar to the team. However, Rokk did not do well and remained a forgettable project for Krishan. Two years later, he presented “Will You Marry Me?” which was a romantic comedy. Apparently inspired from Tomcats, it had Shreyas Talpade, Rajeev Khandelwal, MugdhaGodse, and Muzamil Ibrahim in the cast. Critics slammed WYMM for its lousy script and one-dimensional acting. In its first week of release, WYMM could make only 41 lac rupees. Krishan respects Subhash Ghai for his qualities of the movies which Ghai has directed and stated that he would rather make few but high quality projects instead of producing a bulk of below-average films. In February 2015, Krishna’s daughter Lalita wedded Jai Karan Choudhary’s son Atin in a lavish ceremony. Celebrities like Prachi Desai, Neha Dhupia, Aditya Pancholi, Sunil Shetty, and Govinda attended the event and blessed the couple for their bright married life. Regardless of his number of projects, individuals maintain to respect Krishna for his honesty and work ethics.
