Plot
Ajayan, the son of Appunni, an ex-army personnel, was married and had a son. His wife passed away and his son went missing. After two years of this incident, Ajayan marries Aparna and takes her home. On the same day, his father was questioned by the police personnel about his missing gun. After some days, they move to their home in the reserve forest, where they can spot a lot of monkeys. Soon, Aparna learns about Ajayan and his father. She starts digging into the happenings at the home and finds something shocking. What did she find? The rest of the film explains.
Star Performance
Asif did justice to the given role. His expressions are mild, and he didn’t overreact and spoil the scenes. Vijayaraghavan has got multiple layers in his character, and he got the opportunity to emote differently. Aparna is one of the good additions to the cast, who essayed her role with needed expressions. Her emotions and body language are additional benefits to the script.
Analysis
The script is simple and new. The screenplay is not so racy, but the director has made it at the right pace. The visuals are good, especially the aerial shots in the deep woods and the lower-angle shots. The BGM gels well with the story and carries the story’s life. The editing is pretty decent, and they can’t trim the film more than this. The production values are neat, and the film is technically strong, too.

The film has a good set of performers, an engaging screenplay, and decent execution. It is a good mystery thriller to watch this festival weekend!
