Plot
Shiva is a surfer who also works for Jack. Shiva and Kanimozhi are in love with each other, and they decide to settle abroad. He finds a person washed ashore and saves him. After getting back his consciousness, the person sticks to Shiva and prefers to be with him. However, he behaves like a child, and Shiva settles with him. Soon, he finds out that he is a popular wrestler from Japan. So, he decides to send him to his country and make him participate in the wrestling championship. Did he win the wrestling competition? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Shiva is casual as usual, without any serious inputs. Priya played her part well and is the only solace in the film. Yoshinori Tashiro tries to fit into the role. VTV Ganesh, Yogi Babu, and Sathish are just present in the film.
Analysis
Shiva’s Tamil Padam is the only hit in his solo comedy movies so far. Though there were a lot of comedy actors present, none of their comedy performances worked out. The screenplay is weak, and the director’s inexperience is visible. The producer should be appreciated for his bold move to allocate a huge budget for this film. Rajiv Menon’s visuals are good, but his efforts were in vain due to the weak screenplay and execution. Even if the story is not present, many films of this genre impress the audience with their comedy. Even that didn’t work out for this Shiva-starrer.
