Plot

When the highly-qualified cops couldn’t handle the basket killings case that involved the death of a series of people, who are linked with each other, the CBI official Sethurama Iyer gets the case. How he cracks the case and why it is considered the most challenging case in his history forms the rest of the plot.

Star Performance

Mammootty has excelled in his role. His body language, expressions, and stylish look while dealing with the case make the audience want more from the actor. Jagathy Sreekumar, Mukesh, and Saikumar had done their part well.

Analysis

The fifth installment of the film deals with an exciting story that makes the audience glued to their seats. The investigation scenes are shot well, and the presence of a huge star crew added an extra pillar of strength to the film. As there were proper actors placed, all the characters looked perfect. The visuals are decent, and the BGM too. Though many investigation thrillers are made, Mammootty's CBI series is always a delightful watch.
