Avinash is an unmarried youngster, who is on a trip to Shimla with his family. He finds Naina, a Shimla girl and falls for her. Although he brings a lot of guts to express his love for her, his shyness put hurdles on his proposal. So, he decides to reveal his heart to her in a traditional way and writes a letter. But, his message reaches Naina’s mother. She is a divorcee and after seeing his proposal, she decided to give a choice in her life. What’s next? Watch the film to know the rest!

Star Performance

Rajkummar Rao is as usual good in his role. Hema makes her entry after a long. Although she gets a lengthy role, it didn’t impress. Rakul is perfect in her part. Shakti Kapoor’s comedy didn’t work out.

The script seems to be funny. Yet, these kinds of scripts, we have seen a lot in the past. As it was a film by Ramesh Sippy, we had a lot of expectations. Besides this, Hema Malini’s presence was seen as a foremost thing. Neither of them helped the film to attract the audiences. The cinematography is good and the music is okayish.

What’s There?

  • The star cast and the director are the biggest pluses
  • Performances of Rajkummar, Hema Malini and Rakul are okayish

What’s Not There?

  • Except for a few comedy, nothing worked out much
  • Characters should have been designed better

If you don’t expect much, then this film might be a time pass for this weekend.
