Personal life: Shakti Kapoor was born in Delhi, India as Sunil Kapoor. He was the second child among the four children of his parents Mr. Sikanderlal Kapoor and Ms. Susheela Kapoor. He resided in Karol Bhag, Delhi. He married Shivangi kohlapure (Padmini kohlapurei’s elder sister) in the year 1982. He has two children, a son Siddhant Kapoor and a daughter Shraddha Kapoor. Career: Shakti Kapoor was famous because of his mischievous activities in his early childhood. He was passionate about cricket, and it also won him admission in Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. After graduation, Shakti took to modelling. He tried his luck into acting and this is how he received the opportunity to be a student of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). He learned acting there, and this was the beginning of his career. He entered into Bollywood by making a debut in the film ’Do Jasoos’ (1975). Firoz Khan offered him a chance to act in Vikram Singh's Qurbani (1980) and it turned out to be a blockbuster. His career took a slow start but gradually he became a superstar. He acted as a villain in the film ‘Rocky’ and this marked the birth of Shakti Kapoor.

He was now famous as Shakti kapoor. Many heroes made their entry and exit, but Shakti made a stable stay and stardom. Gradually he took to comic roles and who can forget his commendable performance as Nandu in the movie’ Raja Babu’ (1994).He acted with Kader Khan in many movies and the chemistry portrayed by the duo earned a lot of appreciation. The role of ‘crime master Gogo’ in the film Andaz Apna Apna (1994) won accolades. Be it a villain, a comedian or a character artist, Shakti Kapoor has done justice to all the roles and has entertained audiences for decades. Shaji Choudhary is an Indian actor who has portrayed supporting roles in movies and TV serials. Shaji made his first Bollywood appearance in the 2006 Hindi film Husn Bewafa which went unnoticed. In 2008, Shaji got to work alongside Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan when the director Ashutosh Gowariker signed him to play the character of Akbar’s general Adham Khan in the historical drama Jodhaa Akbar. The flick was a take on the marriage of a Rajputana princess Jodha and the greatest Mughal emperor Akbar. Jodhaa Akbar got rave reviews, and it would go on to break records as well. Later, Shaji featured in Shaurya Aur Suhani, a romantic soap opera in which he essayed a minor role. In 2013, Shaji appeared in Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout at Wadala as Aurangzeb. “Shootout at Wadala” focuses on Mumbai underworld crime scene and had John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee, Anil Kapoor, and Kangana Ranaut in its cast. Eventually, it got praise from all around the world for its depiction of the gangsters. In 2014, Shaji turned up in two movies. His first 2014 release was Action Jackson who starred Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam, and Manasvi Mamgai. Shaji’s character was that of a henchman under the guidance of Xavier Fonseca, a notorious criminal. However, Action Jackson faced a backlash from the critics for its bogus script. But Shaji went on to be a part of Rajkumar Hirani’s PK. PK is about an alien who gets trapped on the Earth. During his stay on this planet, he poses questions about religious superstitions and beliefs which makes people think twice about their faith in such practices. Various groups protested against the screening of PK as they stated that the motion picture did not respect religious sentiments of people. Featuring Aamir Khan as PK (alien) and Anushka Sharma, the audience and reviewers applauded Hirani for his attempt to make people aware of such methods which sometimes brainwash the innocent ones. The makers had cast Shaji as Tapasvi Maharaj’s bodyguard. In 2017, Shaji teamed up with Ashutosh Gowariker and Hrithik Roshan for one more time as they filmed Mohenjo Daro. The movie is about the ancient town of Mohenjo-Daro (currently in Pakistan). Mohenjo Daro and Rustom released on 12 August 2016. But Mohenjo Daro could not impress the viewers as they complained about its length and inaccurate depiction of events in it. Shaji has worked in Kaabil and Wagah (Tamil language project).
