Ramesh Sippy is an eminent film director and he is widely acclaimed for his classic Sholay, who was born in the year 1947. He is the son of yesteryear producer G P Sippy. Ramesh Sippy is wedded to
Kiran Juneja, who is an Indian actress. At the age of 9, Sippy acted in the film Shahenshah. For around 7 years he took up the role of assistant director. During this time he took lot of effort to know about the nuances of film industry. Later, during 1971 he directed the film Andaz, which didn’t do well. But luck favored him in his next venture
Seeta Aur Geeta which was very successful.
The year 1975 saw one of the best films of Indian history, Sholay, which was directed by Sippy. This film was widely appreciated and Hindi movie buffs fervently loved the film.
