Amit Sharma is an Indian movie, short films and commercial advertisements director. He along with two other partners runs Chrome pictures. He first came into limelight from his very famous Google reunion advert. It featured childhood friends divided and sent apart following the partition between India and Pakistan. It had a very intense impact on both the countries. Within two days of its release, the video was seen by over 1.6 million peoples. The advert was mainly to show how important Google search engine can be in real life. The advert went completely viral. And from here, Amit Sharma, the director’s career started. After this, he directed The Silent National Anthem. This advert was released by Big Cinemas and Mudra Group on 61st Indian Independence Day.

The video was shot enacting hearing impaired children, in sign language. Big Cinemas is a company owned by Reliance Industries. In Big Cinema’s theatres, this advert was played before every movie.
