Nikhil Joshi is a Writer, Filmmaker, Editor, and Editor with citizenship of Australia. He is a passionate Actor. Nikhil has studied screenplay writing, photography, and video editing. Nikhil was a Production Manager of a 1.2 Million dollar Australian feature film. He won the Special Critics Award in Global Shorts, Los Angeles, in September 2018 for the short movie DON'T, based on depression, alcohol, and suicide prevention. He promotes career options in the art and science of cinema to school children and adults and teaches short filmmaking courses, which include story development, editing, cinematography, and script writing.

He is known for his work as a Producer, Editor, Writer, and Director in the short films Identity (2021) and The Interrogation (2020). He was a Director, Writer, and Editor of DON'T (2018). He has been honoured with many awards, which include the Best Director Award at the Roshini International Film Festival 2021, Best Editor Award for the short film Symbol of Love in Italy 2020, Best Short Film and Best Director Award for Identity at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival in 2021, Best Psychological Thriller and Best Direction Award for the short film Identity at the Global India International Film Festival in 2022, and Best Editor Award for the Action Thriller short film The Whistle in California 2017.

He received a Certificate of Appreciation at the NSW Art Preservation Film, Sydney. He was also a Jury member at the Ideal International Film Festival 2021-22. He also received many nominations for his film works, which include Best International Short Film at the Vancouver Independent Film Festival 2021 and Best Drama Summer Award at the Alternative Film Festival (AltFF) 2021 for his work in Identity. He also received a nomination for The Interrogation at the AltFF in the Best Thriller International Summer Award category in 2021.
