Bantu grows up in a middle-class family as Valmiki’s son. His biological parents are Yashu and Randeep Nanda, the millionaire couple. Valmiki replaces his son in Bantu’s place, and his son Raj grows like a Prince. Though his son lives like a Prince, Valmiki doesn’t treat Bantu well. Randeep Nanda was in danger and saved by Bantu. At that time, Bantu comes to know about his history. He also witnesses the problems faced by his parents and tries to solve them. Was he able to reveal the truth? Did he solve all the issues faced by his father inside the house and in the business place? The rest of the film showcases that.
Kartik has done his best. His gutsy guy look is good. Kriti Sanon didn’t get a performance-oriented role, yet she did her best. Manisha, Sachin, Ronit, and Paresh, have done what was required. The emotional performance by Ronit was good.
The film has nothing new from its original version except for a few changes. But, when people compare these two films, the original version excels, as it has excellent performances and stylish sequences. The songs are not much impressive in Shehzada, except for the Shehzada song. The artists are chosen well, yet they would have cast Tabu for the same role. However, Manisha did her job well. The action scenes are choreographed well. The film has good production and technical values.
What’s Not There?
If you’ve not watched Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo, Shehzada will appeal as a super good film. The comparison stands first for those who have already watched the original version. However, Shehzada stands as a good one-time watch-worthy movie!
