Plot
Manjulika occupied the century-old mansion. The owners want to make it new and sell it for a good amount. So, they approach Rooh Baba, hoping he could do anything with his power, unaware he is a fraudster. Using the royal family’s trust in him, Rooh enters in and finds out that there is not one Manjulika but two. How will he send both of them out and help the royal family sell the mansion? Is that possible for him? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
Kartik’s performance is fine in his roles Ruhan and Rooh Baba. Though Kartik appears throughout the film, it is Vidya and Madhuri, who grab the audienc’s attention with their magnetic presence and performances. Vidya and Madhuri’s chemistry is excellent, and both of them are impressive in their own way. Both their dance performances are just stunning. Though Madhuri is at the top with her dance skills, Vidya tried to match her and succeeded in that successfully to a great extent. The rest of the stars are just present and delivered as asked.
Analysis
The screenplay is fast-paced and there is no slowness. Whether it be the confusion between Manjulika and Anjulika or the dance performances, the director has made those scenes quite interesting. It is very tough to give two senior stars dazzling roles, but Anees made it successfully. It is really appreciable that the casting team picked the right stars. However, Tripti, Rajpal, Sanjay and Ashwini Kalsekar, should’ve been given better roles. The visuals and VFX are good. The background music is fine, with some elevation in intense sequences.
