Plot
Small-town pharmacist Rajender is advised to appeal for a loan from bedridden former royalty Vikram. He meets Vikram's daughter Jansey, a mysterious and enigmatic girl and the two begin a dangerous affair that only spells doom ahead for the both of them.
Star Performance
The acting was mediocre at its very best. Arjun Kapoor's delivery was flat and emotionless. Bhumi tried to salvage what could be saved, but it didn’t do much good. Overall, the cast could have performed way better than they did..
Analysis
The Lady Killer is a gory romance film loaded with tension and drama. The movie stars Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles. Coming to technical viewpoints,, the film could have fared a lot better, especially with proper editing. The cinematography could have been better executed and slightly less confusing to keep the movie interesting. There are too many scenes with little to no context that make it a confusing narrative. The acting in this film was subpar for the most part, and Arjun Kapoor desperately needs to work on making his performance more vibrant and adding more depth to his acting. The film’s climax, although nothing special, was its only saving grace.

The Lady Killer has its fair share of flaws that affect the average viewing experience that the film has to offer. It has a unique story and an engaging climax, but it does not deliver through in the end. The film could have done a lot better in aspects such as technical and cast-based ones. In all honesty, The Lady Killer seems like a solid, skippable watch.
