Analysis
First and foremost the movie lacks a Priyadarshan stamp. It seems to be a compilation of several episodes making an effort to make you laugh your heart out. The script sense and plot are too misleading, and neither have a head nor a toe. Making things worse, the protagonist does not evoke any moments of laughter but irritation. However certain lines like "Bhaiyya, kelakhatam hone se pehle, main khatamhojaoonga.” show the commendable job by the writers.
Star Performance
The only actor who stands out is Shreyas Talpade, who can portray his calibre and credibility. Worth an A+. Nana Patekar and Om Puri seem to have wasted their talent and time. Madhurima does not show any wonders and is just fair. Neera Vora has emerged victorious regarding acting.
What is there?
1. Good and decent direction.
2. Pleasant music scores by Sajid-Wajid.
3. The photography by R. Ganesh capturing the lakeside village view is excellent.
What is not there?
1. Being a comedy film, there are just a few hard laughter scenes.
2. Bad editing that does not go into a flow.
Verdict
If you go with a mindset to come back with laughing tears from your eyes, don’t even think of it. Below average, this movie doesn’t give you any reason to whistle. An unbearable mess…..
