The director will be making his next movie on an unbelievably true story: a fake IPL scam involving the Russians! The film is titled ‘ First Copy First Copy has emerged as a groundbreaking reality >> Read More... ’ for now!

According to the latest reports, the upcoming movie will show how some village boys, in order to earn easy money, set up a fake tournament, and used technology in such a way, that many online gamblers, including the Russians, actually fell for it!

However, this is not the first time Jayprad Desai is involved in such a unique project. Not many know that he is the same guy, who directed the movie ‘Kaun Pravin Tambe?’. The film was based on the life and struggles of Pravin Tambe, a domestic cricketer who made his professional debut at the age of 41. He not only surprised everyone by taking a hattrick against Kolkata Knight Riders, but also held the Purple Cap in the same season [2014] for a brief time.
