Plot
Vir is an ambitious man from a village. He wants his people to get all their basic needs. His father was a non-violent fighter who impressed Vir. Vir lost all his patience in protesting and getting no positive results. He joined the aviation academy and faced a lot of setbacks in achieving his goals. While working as a pilot, Vir gets a noble idea to run a cheap flight service that would help people of all financial statuses. When he expressed his idea to Paresh Goswami, the leading air service founder, he rejected the idea and troubled Vir in making his idea materialize. Vir’s wife, Rani, is a great moral support to him, and she had been with him, guiding and energizing him, though his trustworthy aides left him. Will she be able to support him when he needs a huge investment, which they never had dreamed of? What happened to his low-cost air transport plan? Will Vir succeed? How will he invest such a lump sum? The rest of the film focuses on these.
Star Performance
Akshay Kumar is a natural performer who can excel in emotional scenes. He fit well in the role of Vir and excelled with his performance. Radhika Madan perfecltly fits Rani, proving that she is the right cast. Paresh Rawal did what was asked of him. Seema Biswas did an excellent job.
Analysis
The script and screenplay are perfect. The makers should be appreciated for bringing a strong female lead with her own ambitions. Unlike other ambitious movies, which will have the hero with a supporting wife who will help him in all possible ways, this film has a strong female lead, with her ambition of setting up a business, and also ably supports her husband from which she earns. Her character is fantastically written. Nothing wrong to call her role as a parallel to the hero. However, Paresh Rawal’s character should’ve been written better. He appears like a usual negative-shaded character, and nothing impressive out of his role. The visuals are good. The editing should have been better. The songs are perfect, and the BGM by GV Prakash is fantastic.

Sarfira is an emotional and ambitious drama with excellent performances and wonderful execution! It is definitely watchworthy!
