Analysis
The movie is for the late teens to the early twenties. A banging start is something that supports the film but then the graph is all down. Described as a bad, vulgar and offensive film, this is like a slap on the face of Indian cinema. One has nothing to look forward in this film. A poorly scripted film, it definitely is a disregard to all the big names associated to it. With just a few exciting parts, the entire movie is gloomy and pale.
Star Performance
Though the script is not up to the mark the actors have done a good job. Akshay Kumar has imprinted his name regarding good acting skills. His caliber cannot be doubted upon. KareenaKapoor, in her classy and sophisticated role, has left no stone unturned. Parts of her character resemble the “Poo” of K3G. Aftab and Amrita complement each other well and are good to watch.
What is there?
1. Music is up to the mark, with two interesting tracks -- 'Om Mangalam', and 'Bebo'.
2. Cinematography proves to be mind boggling, with the DoP doing complete justice to the production values.
3. Aesthetic choreography.
What is not there?
1. The second half takes a downturn, could have been much entertaining.
2. The script is quite derogatory towards women.
3. Actors like Javed Jaffery and BomanIrani are wasted regarding their acting.
4. Bad lines and lousy jokes.
Verdict
A movie not for the general masses; it cannot connect to the people. Revolving around a particular issue, the movie is a big NO.
