“R Parthiepan” made his debut as a director cum hero with “Puthiya Paadhai” alongside “Seetha” and “Manorama.” Although he had appeared in some films in cameo roles and assisted “K Bhagyaraj,” Puthiya Paadhai gave him a new life. The film was a grand success and he was praised by the critics, following which he made many successful films. His latest film is “Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam.” Although it was an average grosser, people praised it for his different perception of showcasing the cinema. Recently, the actor was stuck into a controversy that he abandoned his mother who is in her 85. It was also said that he has been living a cowboy life and his daughter is living alone in the house with maids. However, the actor rubbished the rumors and said that it is a political vendetta for his video that advised people to cast their votes. Through the video he also told the people, if they don’t like any of the contestants, they can press NOTA. Parthi says that his mother is living in his farmhouse and when she heard the rumors about her son, she was very upset. However, Parthiepan consoled her and explained her about the social media.
