Plot
In a village, the bridegrooms are targeted and murdered. As the murders follow a similar pattern, the cops start their investigation. Paramasivam and Tamilselvi are husband and wife. They were forced to convert to another religion. Soon, they get stuck in mysterious situations and suffer from vengeance. What is the connection between Paramasivam and Tamilselvi and the murders? The rest of the story speaks about that.
Star Performance
Vimal and Chaya deliver a decent performance. Seshvitha’s performance is quite good. The rest of the cast have done what was required of them.
Analysis
It is a bold attempt to speak openly about something that may stir up some controversy. The film doesn’t have anything that creates a rift between religions, but rather focuses on people. It also has a good romance segment. This blend of horror and mystery might have worked well if the screenplay had been better. It is flat without many engaging elements, though there are a few twists. Vimal had been picking some performance-oriented scripts in recent times. Though his screen time is minimal, he has done a decent job. The running time is decent. However, the film seems to have been dragged a bit for its plot. If it had been trimmed by twenty minutes, it would’ve been crisper. The visuals and music are average.
