Nithya Menen, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, “S J Surya,” “Vadivelu,” Kovai Sarala, Misha Ghoshal, “Sathyan” and Yogi Babu are in the star cast of Mersal. It is heard that the pre-release business of Mersal in Kerala is Rs. 7.5 crore and this is a good record for a Tamil film in Kerala, as “Kabali” of Superstar “Rajinikanth” had gone for a lesser price than this. So, Vijay has once again proved that he is the mass actor and is the Tamil King in Kerala.
