When the shooting was about to happen near Velappar Temple next to Aundipatti, some of the people in the area started to protest that the shooting should not be held in the area. As the area is supposed to be in the forest limit, the team should get the permission from the forest department. So, the shooting had been put on hold and after getting the permission from the forest department, the shooting will resume. So, the team packed up everything and returned to Chennai. Besides this film, Udhayanidhi has been booked doing Saravanan Irukka Bayamen and a yet to be titled
