, the movie is all set for Pongal release, which falls on January 14th. The movie showcases the lives of the Karagattam artists in and around Tanjore. The film has the Discovery Tamil’s crew, which search the Swamy Pulavar, a popular singer, who is the recipient of the “Kalaimamani” award. Bala said that he felt euphoric to join with the Discovery Tamil team. He also said that the Discovery Tamil team helps the rural dance forms to gain popularity. The music of the movie is composed by the veteran music director, Maestro, Isaignani, “Ilayaraja”. An important point to be noted is Tharai Thappattai is the 1000th film of this music genius.
