, the Prime Minister, had a meeting with the Chinese President Xi Jinping in Mahabalipuram. Modi is still in Mahabalipuram. He posted a video on his Twitter page and in that, we could see him plogging at the beach. In that 3:02 minute video, we could see the PM picking up the litter on the beach and handing it over to the hotel staff.
Modi posted, “Plogging at a beach in Mamallapuram this morning. It lasted for over 30 minutes. Also handed over my ‘collection’ to Jeyaraj, who is a part of the hotel staff. Let us ensure our public places are clean and tidy! Let us also ensure we remain fit and healthy.” As the PM said, it is our duty to keep the place clean and tidy. If littering in public is avoided, we will not see any untidy area.
