Krishnagiri’s First COVID19 Case Reported Today!

Krishnagiri, which was the only green zone in Tamilnadu has reported its first COVID19 case, today. The 67-year-old man is tested covid19 positive. It is reported that he had visited Puttaparthi Sai Baba in Andhra Pradesh to offer prayers. Three people, who traveled along with him are also isolated. With this first case, Krishnagiri moves from green to orange zone. At the same time, Ariyalur, the orange zone is said to have been changed to the red zone. So, there is no green zone in Tamilnadu.

Total confirmed cases in India is 35, 356. The death toll reached 1152. The lockdown will continue till 17th May 2020. Meanwhile, the US has approved the antiviral drug, Remedisivir to treat corona patients. Let’s all stay safe and fight against corona!
