, the actor cum politician announced that he would pay Rs 1 crore as an interim compensation for the family of the deceased. Similarly, the LYCA Productions announced Rs 2 crores for the families of the deceased and they had also stated that all the medical expenses for the injured will be taken care of by them.
The Nazarethpet police had registered cases under IPC sections 304 (A), 337, 338 and 287. Kamal Haasan stated that accidents happen in all industries. He also said that he had been in the film industry since his childhood and once again the disastrous incident proved that the cinema industry has no safety compliance and it is shameful stated Kamal. The steps should be taken to ensure the safety of the technicians, added Kamal.
