. Chandra Hasan’s wife, Geethamani, aged 73 was suffering from health issues. She had been receiving the treatment at a private hospital in Chennai. Yesterday evening, she got a massive heart attack and died all on a sudden. Her mortal remains are kept at their home in Alwarpet, Chennai. She will be cremated at the electric crematorium, today evening. On hearing the death news of his sister in law, Kamal Haasan rushed to his brother’s house and paid the last respects to Geethamani. Popular actress Anu Hasan is the daughter of Chandra Hasan and Geethamani. Our deepest condolences to their family! May her soul rest in peace!
