Kaala Shocks The US Distributors!

Kaala Karikalan, the Superstar “Rajinikanth” movie released on 7th June and had been running successfully in some areas, especially in Chennai. Yes, it has collected a record-breaking box office collection in Chennai, which “Vijay” starrer “Mersal” failed to make. It has been doing well in Australia too. But, the film had grossed $ 1.89 million at the end of ten days. Although it is a decent amount, Kaala didn’t collect what “Kabali” did at the US Box office. It is said that Kabali collected $1.91 million on the first day of release. This has come as a shock to the distributors. However, we couldn’t just believe all the info that rolls down. Unless “Dhanush” clarifies it, we couldn’t come to a conclusion. Kaala is directed by Pa Ranjith. Nana Patekar, Easwari Rao, Huma Qureshi, “Samuthirakani,” Anjali Patil, Sayaji Shinde and Aravind Akash are also in the cast.
