He is one of the most famous Tollywood and Bollywood actor who made his career in most of the Hindi movies. He had also acted in Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies. He started his career by acting in a Marathi play in 1978. In 1987, his famous Marathi play “Hijada” (Eunuch) had received so much popularity and from that day he has come into the limelight among the industry. Sayaji Shinde is very much fond of classical music. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with friends. Some of his hobbies are hiking and watching movies. He was born in the family of farmer’s and belongs from the small village Vele – Kamthi, which is near Satara district in Maharashtra. He completed his graduation in the field of Arts in The Marathi Language. During his struggling time, he has worked as the watchman in Maharashtra Government’s Irrigation Department from where he used to get the salary of Rs-165/ per month. While working as the watchman he has developed quite an interest in theatre and his interest has taken him to film industry. After struggling so much, he has shifted to Mumbai. Sayaji was blessed with two children - Angraj Shinde and Monica shinde. But because of the tragic accident, Sayaji lost his son at a very early age that was just 15 years old. The accident took place at Barvi dam where sayaji family members went to celebrate the birthday of Vandana, who is a wife of Sayaji Shinde. After the School movie, he has done many other movies in Tamil. The Bharathi Tamil movie was one of the great hit for Sayaji from where his career has started and got so much name and fame. He had been honoured by the Tamil Nadu Award for his great effort and tremendous acting in the movie. In 2001, he had been nominated for the film fare award for Best Supporting Actor for the movie Kurukshetra and in 2000 for the best villain in movie School. Today he is ruling on many hearts due to his hard work and tremendous acting in movies.
