“Sivakarthikeyan” had been a successful hero right from his debut movie. He was last seen in Seema Raja directed by “Ponram.” The film has Samantha Akkineni, “Simran,” “Lal,” “Napoleon” and “Soori.” Although the first-day collection of the movie came up to Rs 13.5 crores, the film’s collection slides down in the next few days. The movie has grossed Rs 46 crores in Tamilnadu and Rs 4.85 crore in Chennai and its worldwide collection is Rs 62 crores. The theatrical right of the film was sold for Rs 30 crores. This is the highest budgeted movie in the career of Sivakarthikeyan. As the film had not collected well at the box office as expected, it is considered first flop in Sivakarthikeyan’s career. The actor has been playing in a couple of films; one film is directed by “Rajesh” and the other is directed by “R Ravikumar.”
