Amaran’ Set For A Grand Clash!

Major Varadarajan is set to clash with Rooh Baba and Bajirao Singham!

Confused? According to the recent reports, ‘Amaran’ has secured a release for 31 October 2024. Sivakarthikeyan is the lead actor, while Bhuvan Arora, Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose etc. would be in the supporting roles. The movie is based on the sacrifices of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who later received Ashoka Chakra posthumously for his efforts.

So, what’s the big deal here?

Amaran is releasing around Diwali, setting up a mega clash with other films as well. The movie will have a direct clash with ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, which are led by Ajay Devgn and Kartik Aaryan respectively.

‘Amaran’ is also the last chance for Kamal Haasan to regain the lost ground this year, since he is producing ‘Amaran’ under his production banner ‘Raaj Kamal Films International’. A lot was expected from ‘Indian 2’, which was the sequel to the 1996 cult classic ‘Indian’, directed by S Shankar. The original cut was too long, so it was halved in two, with ‘Indian 2’ releasing in July.

However, the poor response at the box office has damaged the reputation of both Shankar and Kamal Haasan, who were expected to bring back smiles for Kollywood at the box office. If ‘Amaran’ wins, Kamal Haasan can end the year on a positive note.
