Farmers To Protest Against Rajini!

As per the latest report received, Tamilnadu farmers are planning to protest against “Rajinikanth” in front of his residence. The reason for the protest is, Rajinikanth has promised to donate Rs. 1 Crore in 2002 with regard to the Cauvery dispute. Rajini said that he will donate the amount to the government to inter link the rivers. Even after 14 years, Super Star didn’t make his contribution, says a farmer. So, an organization called Desiya Thenmaanila Nadhigal Inaippu Vivasaayigal Sangam threatens to protest, if Rajini fails to hand over the money to them in a month. Rajinikanth had announced that he will donate Rs. 1 Crore, if the governments take initiatives to interlink the rivers. Till now, the essential steps to link the rivers are not taken by government and hence Rajini didn’t fund for it. Meanwhile, Rajini is spending his vacation in the US. He will return Chennai on 3rd July and resume his “2.0” directed by “S Shankar” and co-starred by Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.
