Box Office Collection This Weekend!

Last week, we had a biggie release and two normal films. “Velaiilla Pattadhari 2” featuring “Dhanush,” Kajol Devgan, Amala Paul, “Samuthirakani,” “Vivek,” Saranya Ponvannan and Ritu Varma made a hit at the box office with 1.6 crore collection in Chennai. Following this, Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam (PEMT) collected Rs. 68 lakhs and “Taramani” got Rs. 35 lakhs. Although VIP2 and PEMT are in the top two places, Taramani is the film that impressed the fans. Although VIP 2 received mixed reviews, the collection is good. Besides these films, Vikram Vedha featuring “R Madhavan” and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles is still leading the box office with Rs. 8 crore in Chennai, so far.
