Sujatha…. If you are a bibliophile or a fan of ‘S Shankar’s movies, you will definitely know about Sujatha alias Rangarajan. Srirangam is the native of Sujatha. Sujatha was born on 3rd May 1935 in Madras. Sujatha is the pride author of more than 200 Novels, short stories, dramas and anthologies. Sujatha’s only poetry book is Nylon Rathangal. Most of the books authored by Sujatha have been republished several times. Still, his books are making a sales revolution. Sujatha had a good sense of humor along with his extraordinary talent in writing science fiction stories. Before decades, Sujatha has predicted what will happen after fifty tears. Sujatha is not only a modern writer but had also written explanatory notes for various works of literature. Sujatha has a close connection with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, late President of India. Both studied together in Trichy St. Joesph College and Madras MIT for seven years. Sujatha has worked with Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam and “S Shankar.” Sujatha’s last screenplay was for “Enthiran.” Shankar decided to work with Kamal in Enthiran. After the cast change, Sujatha made some corrections in the screenplay. Sujatha designed the electronic voting machine and he was honored with VASVIK Award for this. Sujatha is a bibliophile. He could not stop reading books. The most popular characters in his novels are Ganesh and Vasanth, the detectives.
