According to the latest reports, the shooting for Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Malayalam movie will begin from 15 June. The movie will be starring Mammootty and Nayanthara in the lead roles. While Gautham has been a part of several Malayalam movies as an actor, this will be the first time that he is directing a movie.

Interestingly, Mammootty will be producing the movie under the banner of Mammootty Kampany. Not much is revealed about the plot, except that it will be a stylish thriller set in Chennai. Meanwhile Gautham and Mammootty will be working together on a similar film titled ‘Bazooka’.

After the success of films like ‘Abraham Ozler’ and ‘Bramayugam’, Mammootty will be playing another grey shade role in this movie, which is expected to be released around the occasion of Onam in Kerala. Apart from ‘Bazooka’, Mammootty is also focusing on another movie ‘Kadugannawa Oru Yatra’.
