Mammootty continues to gain limelight for his daredevil act in ‘Bramayugam’!
Recently, online portal Letterboxd published an article about 25 of the most impressive horror films around the world for the year 2024. To everyone’s surprise, ‘Bramayugam’ made it to the list as well, and it was ranked 2nd overall. Even the Bollywood movie, ‘Stree 2’, made it to the list, though it was ranked 23rd overall!

in the lead roles, the movie is set in the 17th century Kerala, where a slave crosses paths with a landlord, who is not what he seems to be.
The horror thriller was not only novel in terms of concept, it blew the Malayalam fans over. Mammootty once again proved his mettle with an unconventional role, and the movie turned out to be a surprise hit, earning 87 crores worldwide over a budget of 27 crores , despite releasing only a week later than the cult classic ‘Premalu’, which was made on a budget way lower than that of ‘Bramayugam’.
Mammootty is currently working on multiple projects. While an official confirmation is yet to be made, there are rumors that he might return to both Telugu and Hindi cinema with the cop drama ‘
