Will Muthulakshmi Withdraw The Case On Killing Veerappan?

Now, Veerappan’s wife filed a lawsuit in the court against the movie, and the court granted a stay to release the movie. Veerappan’s wife Muthulakshmi stated that she had been jailed for three years, after her husband’s death. She also says that many false cases were imposed on her. Muthulakshmi says that Ram Gopal Varma met her and told her that he will premiere the movie to her before the release. She says RGV has promised her that he will not portray Veerappan and his family wrongly. Muthulakshmi also says RGV has not followed the terms of contract correctly, which was signed eight years ago. She says the document had stated that the movie will be made only in Hindi and she had asked the dubbing rights for releasing in Tamil and RGV has agreed orally. Additional information is Muthulakshmi was paid Rs. 30 Lakhs by RGV as a permit to make the movie.  Veerappan was killed by the Tamilnadu Police in 2004 through the “Operation Cocoon.” Based on the real incident, Ram Gopal Varma made the film in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
