, who is famous for his work in “The Godfather” and in the TV Series, “Barney Miller”, is no more. He died at the age of 94. He was nominated for the Awards consecutively thrice for his performance in “Barney Miller” as the detective Phil Fish. His Mafia soldier role in “The Godfather” will never be forgotten. 'The Don Is Dead, "Joe Versus the Volcano", "Prancer", "Jury Duty" and "Sugar Hill" were some of his hit movies. Vigoda was offered his first film in an open call audition and without the intervention of the agents. With his excellent performances, he was one among the most wanted character artists in those days. Let his soul rest in peace! Condolences to his family!
