South Korean films bagged the Vision Awards 2015 at the Busan International Film Festival. O Muel grabbed two trophies for”Eyelids”. He bagged CGV art house award and the Directors Guild of Korea award. Directors’ award was shared with another Korean film, “The Boys Who Cried Wolf”, directed by Kim Jin Hwang. O Muel is popular for his award-winning “Jiseul”, which was premiered at Busan in 2012 and it won the grand jury prize at Sundance.
The citizen critics' award was awarded to “
Alone
” by Park Hongmin. This is the second time Park gets the prize. He was honored in 2011 for his “Fish”.
