Rajini had to repay for everything as it was a loss. As the movie had huge expectations, just because it was written and produced by Superstar. The story is an atheist transformed into spiritual. The story is like after being in a relationship a young woman is cheated by a man and how she kills that man is the climax. Even though having famous directors and musicians it was a big flop.

4) Naatuku Oru Nallavan (1991) and directed by V Ravichandran, has a cool story of a police fighting against the deadly mafia known for an organ transplant. This movie was simultaneously released Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu for which different heroes starred but in Tamil was the Superstar. Ironically it was a major disaster in every language.

5) 'Siva' (1989) a remake of Amitabh Bachchan Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11, 1942 in A >> Read More... ’s movie ‘Khoon Pasina’ which was a big hit in 197. The plot was two childhood buddies are separated just because the villain kills their families. After twenty years one becomes hired the thug, who is asked to kill the other guy. As known they recognize each other and fight against the villain. Despite the performance by Rajini and Raghuvaran, who acted as the two friends, surprisingly it was a big fail in the box office.

6) Naan Adimai Illai (1986) had a very simple plot, a young couple facing many problems as their marriage was destined to fail as they both come from different social backgrounds. The last movie for Sridevi in Tamil cinema. Even this cinema couldn’t do anything in big theaters.

7) Rajinikanth’s 'Maveeran' another remake of Amitabh Bachchan starred Mard. This cinema was about British India’s Backdrop and it was the first film in Kollywood which got released in high resolution in 70 mm widescreen format. This movie and Kamal Hassan’s Punnagai Mannan both got released in 1986 in Diwali. Kamal’s film which was a big hit, but Rajini’s movie couldn’t do anything and got negative reviews.

10) Anbulla Rajinikanth (1984) having a little girl named Rosy, a cancer patient who lives in an orphanage but limited to the wheelchair. Rajinikanth being a star in the film as well whose films is enjoyed by this little girl. The little girl opens up and has a great bond with the superstar. The film ends as Rosy dies on a Christmas Eve leaving a note for him. This movie had good reviews in the start but unfortunately was a failure at the box office. But the music of Ilaiyaraaja was the biggest hit.
