1. Taare Zameen Par

Taare Zameen Par is an Indian Hindi-language film, released worldwide on the 21st of December, 2007, written by Amole Gupte and produced and directed by one of the most popular actors in Bollywood, Aamir Khan. The plot revolves around Ishaan (Darsheel Safary), a 9-year-old boy with dyslexia that hinders his academic scores. Fed up with his failure, Ishaan’s father sends him to a boarding school, where he meets an art teacher, Ram Shankar Nikumbh (Aamir Khan). Ram becomes Ishaan’s mentor and helps him overcome his disabilities. Taare Zameen Par has won many accolades, such as the Filmfare Award for Best Film in 2008 and the National Film Award for Best Film on Family Welfare, to name a few.

2. Don–The Chase Begin Again

Don is an Indian Hindi-language action thriller film, released worldwide in 2006, with Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. One of the most talented actors, singers, writers, and filmmakers, Farhan Akhtar, directed it. Shah Rukh Khan plays the antagonist (Don) who heads a gang of criminals, and the protagonist (Don’s lookalike) in the movie. While Priyanka Chopra, the other protagonist, aims to kill Don, who brutally murdered her brother and sister-in-law, They nominated the movie in various categories for the 1st Asian Film Awards, the 52nd Filmfare Awards, and the 8th IIFA Awards.

3. Lakshya

Lakshya (2004) is another hit by Farhan Akhtar. It is an Indian Hindi-language war drama film starring Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Preity Zinta in lead roles. The story revolves around a rich boy, Karan Shergill (Hrithik Roshan), who does not have any aim until he joins the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun. The story further depicts the lives of the Indian soldiers, who bravely tackle all the challenges that come their way to protect their country. It has many accolades in its name, such as Best Choreography for the song ‘Main Aisa Kyun Hoon’ by Prabhudeva and Best Cinematographer, ‘Christopher Popp’. 4. Shivaay

Shivaay is an Indian Hindi-language action thriller film produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms. They released it on the 28th of October, 2016, starring Ajay Devgn, Sayyeshaa, Abigail Eames, and Erika Kaar in lead roles. The actor produced and directed it himself. The story starts with Shivaay, a tourist guide and mountaineer, who falls in love with Olga, a Bulgarian tourist. Later, he discovers Olga is pregnant with his child, but she doesn’t want her. Shivaay convinces her to give birth to his child, to which she agrees and leaves the country after giving birth. The story takes a turn when his child (Gaura) discovers that her mother is alive and starts hating her father for hiding the truth from her.

5. Bholaa

Bholaa is an Indian Hindi-language action-adventure film produced under the banner of Ajay Devgn FFilms, Reliance Entertainment, T-Series Films, and Dream Warrior Pictures. Directed by Ajay Devgn, it is a remake of the Tamil film Kathi (2019) and stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Gajraj Rao, and Vineet Kumar in lead roles. The story starts with SP Diana Joseph, who seized 1000 crore drugs from the Sikka Gang, and angered them enough to take revenge on her. The story proceeds with a prisoner Bhola, released after ten years of imprisonment. But on his way home to meet his daughter, he gets caught in another case.

6. Dil Chahta Hai

Dil Chahta Hai (2001) is the directorial debut of Farhan Akhtar. It is an Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film written by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani. The story revolves around three best friends, Akash, Sameer, and Sid, and depicts the student’s life after college. Sameer’s parents want him to marry their friend’s daughter; Akash moves abroad to manage his family business; and Sid involves himself in working towards his dream and works hard to become a painter. It stars Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni, and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles.

7. Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota

Yuh Hota Toh Kya Hota is an Indian Hindi-language film directed by Naseeruddin Shah and released worldwide on the 21st of July, 2006. The story showcases a real-life event at The World Trade Center in New York City on the 11th of September, 2001. The story revolves around four passengers who boarded the same flight and connected through an ill fate. The story reveals how the terrorists planned and hijacked the plane. Later, they crashed the plane on the Twin Towers of The World Trade Center. It stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Ayesha Takia, Jimmy Sheirgill, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani, and Saroj Khan in the lead roles.

8. Dabangg 2

Dabangg 2, a sequel to Dabangg (2010), is an Indian Hindi-language action-comedy film released on the 21st of December 2012. Arbaaz Khan directed the movie and stars Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The story starts with Chulbul Pandey, who moves to Kanpur with his family and takes charge of the local police station. Later, he comes across a gangster and politician, Thakur Bachcha Singh, who threatens everyone who comes in his way. The story ends with Pandey killing Bachcha Singh, who harmed his pregnant wife, resulting in a miscarriage.

9. Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi

Mamikarnika is an Indian Hindi-language historical action film that depicts Rani Lakshmi Bai’s life. They released it on the 25th of January 2019 and co-directed by Kangana Ranaut and Krish Jagarlamudi. Born in the ghats of Varanasi in 1828, Manikarnika, because of her bravery, Dixit Ji put an offer in front of Peshwa Bajirao to get her married to Gangadhar Rao. After marriage, they renamed her Laxmibai. She gave birth to Damodar Rao, the heir to Jhansi. But shortly after his birth, he died, followed by his father, Gangadhar Rao. The story ends with the death of Rani Lakshmi Bai, who fought ferociously with the British soldiers.

10. Firaaq

Firaaq, an Indian Hindi-language film released on the 20th of March, 2009, is the directorial debut of Nandita Das, starring Naseeruddin Shah, Deepti Naval, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Inaamulhaq, Nassar, Paresh Rawal, Sanjay Suri, Raghubir Yadav, Shahana Goswami, Amruta Subhash, and Tisca Chopra in lead roles. The story is about the 2002 Gujarat violence and its aftereffects, which killed over 1000+ people in the incident. Because of its positive performance on screen, it has won many accolades in the years 2009 and 2010.
