Sanjay Suri is known as an actor in Bollywood. The 1999 flick Pyaar Mein Kabhi is his debut venture. His work in the film was appreciated. This flick had a debut of many people including the director and actors. The flick was a dud at the box office but had a couple of good songs. Born on 6th April 1971, Sanjay spent 19 years of his life in Srinagar. The stay at Srinagar nurtured Suri’s love for nature. Suri was a star squash player during his school days. The year 1990 was bad for him since his father was assassinated in a terrorist attack. Hence, the family escaped to Jammu, and they had a brief stay at a refugee camp. Later they migrated to Delhi. Sanjay feels that his mother is a great inspiration to him.

During his school and college days, Suri indulged in trekking and camping trips to the mighty Himalayas. Though Suri wanted to be associated with Army, Navy, and sports at different periods of his life, fate had it that he took up films. During the year 1990 Suri ventured into modeling. His ads Gillette, Nilkamal Furniture and Nescafe, are famous. He shifted to Mumbai for modeling and hosted a travel show. Suri was successful as a model. He also tested waters in a T.V. serial.

On his personal front, Suri is wedded to Ambika since 2001. Ambika is a psychologist.Suri is interested in both the beaches and the mountains. Cooking, seeing movies and spending time with family and friends are the leisurely activities of Suri. Besides, he always has a liking for spirituality and philosophy. Travel photography is also his interest.

My Brother..Nikhil was the first production endeavor of Suri. In this flick too he worked with Juhi Chawla. Suri gained accolades for this flick. Suri started spreading awareness on HIV/AIDS after the release of this flick. Sorry Bhai was another production venture of Suri, and it garnered the National Award at the Best Feature Film in Hindi.
