Films portray many sides of a person, and the actors have to present themselves in whatever roles they get; whether it is action, comedy, or romance. But an actor’s best capability is seen when he/she plays the character of a mentally challenged person or a person with some mental disorder because these are the toughest roles to play. And it can either make them or break them because pretending to be a handicapped person is one of the most problematic jobs. So here we bring some of the best roles of mental disorders played by Bollywood actors in different movies.
Shah Rukh Khan is known as the world’s best actor, not just because of his romantic acts, but because of his versatility he shows in all his films. In “My Name Is Khan” his acting is superb, and he had to keep the expression same which is not easy to do. But still, he made us cry with his talent.
The talented star kid, Darsheel Safary, acted as a boy suffering from dyslexia, and he did his part like a perfectionist. Darsheel gave the best at a very young age which many experienced actors cannot.

Most of the viewers who watched Aamir Khan in “Ghajini” cried when they saw Aamir Khan’s acting skill. His impeccable performance of a man with short term memory loss getting revenge for the death of his lover while fighting the disorder was what caught our attention.
One of the biggest hits and an epic film, “Black” was well performed by Rani Mukerji. She went out of her way to give such artistic act. It is one of her best performances till date.

And we have another commendable act by Shah Rukh Khan in “Devdas”; the role of a depressed and alcoholic lover. There can never be anyone like SRK; he can make any character seem real.
Farhan Akhtar also gave a unique presentation of his acting skills in the movie “Karthik Calling Karthik.” He played a common man suffering from dissociative identity disorder.
