Sana alias Shanoor Sana has been in the film industry for the past two decades. With her natural performances, she has attracted a huge number of audiences and made them, her fans. Sana, who was born to a Christian dad and a Muslim mom in Andhra Pradesh, is the only woman from her surrounding to venture into acting.

As she has been performing in Telugu and Tamil TV series, Sana has become the household name in all the three states. It is exciting to know that a girl from a conservative family had broken all the olden principles and added a feather to her family crown with her performances and awards. Even before completing her studies, Sana got married to Sadath. Unlike her traditional family, her cop father-in-law encouraged Sana and helped her in finishing her graduation. Sana’s mom-in-law permitted to pursue her modeling career. Many times, Sana’s parents-in-law had accompanied her for her ad film shoots.  Sana has two children, a son and a daughter. Sana’s son is also in the TV Industry. He runs his own production banner. Her daughter is a fashion designer.

Sana is not bound to a particular religion. She had visited the Hindu temples and had a lot of interest in playing the Hindu goddesses in TV Series and cinema. She played the lead role in Adi Parasakthi, a TV Series. Sana says that Indian goddesses are intense, gorgeous and divine. Sana has been playing in a Tamil series, Ponmagal Vandhal, in Vijay TV. Shanoor Sana Begum, usually known by her stage name Sana, is an Indian actress, model, and television personality who has primarily appeared in Telugu films along with a few Tamil and Kannada films. Sana has also performed in more than 200 films, primarily in supporting parts. She was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, to a Christian father and a Muslim mother. She married Sadath while she was just a teenager, even before she had finished her education.
